1. Commercial space travel

The year 2021 marks the beginning of commercial space travel.

On 20 July 2021, Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man, flew over the Carmen Line on a New Shepard rocket developed by his spaceflight company Blue Origin and entered "real" space.

"On 16 September 2021, SpaceX completed its first commercial space trip, with four passengers aboard a Dragon spacecraft that reached an altitude of approximately 575 kilometers for a three-day journey into space, and in April 2022, SpaceX successfully transported civilians to the International Space Station on a chartered flight for the first time.

2. Sputnik 1

The first human-made Earth satellite on October 4, 1957, mankind's first artificial Earth satellite "Sputnik 1" was successfully launched, and after orbiting for a few days, it crashed into the atmosphere and burned up on January 4, 1958, thus announcing the dawn of the human space age.

The Sputnik 1 was converted from a missile by rocket expert Korolev and was launched from the Baikonur launch site. It was a major event in the history of human spaceflight and was included in the list of "Ten Milestones in Space Exploration".

3. Vostok 1

The first manned spacecraft

The first manned spacecraft, Vostok 1, was launched on 12 April 1961, carrying cosmonaut Gagarin, who became the first man in history to go into outer space and the first to orbit the Earth.

Since then, space technology has been in the world's spotlight.

On 5 May of the same year, the United States, launched the "Freedom 7" spacecraft, with astronaut Alan Shepherd successfully traveling into space, becoming the second human being to enter space after Gagarin, and the first American to do so.

4. Apollo 11

The first successful human landing on the moon

"Apollo 11 was the first successful human mission to the moon, and on 20 July 1969 Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on the moon.

The world-famous quote "That's one small step for a man, but one giant leap for mankind." was uttered by Armstrong when he landed on the moon.

It was a great achievement for mankind in space, attracting more than a million people to watch the launch that year and a record 600 million viewers for the live broadcast.

5. Salyut 1

The first human space station

The first space station in human history, Salyut 1, was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on 19 April 1971. The purpose of Salyut 1 at the time was to test the station's system components and to do some research on scientific experiments.

The telescope was operated by Pachaev, who became the first human to operate a telescope outside the Earth's atmosphere.
